I am an experienced Spanish to English translator and native English proofreader.
I specialise in medical translation, but I am experienced in a wide variety of subject areas: I am a qualified TESOL teacher and experienced in the field of education, and I have a BA in history and spent three months translating in Seville’s Archaeology Museum.
My employment background is in the area of equality and human rights and I gained a wealth of knowledge and experience during the ten years I spent working in this field.
I am a qualified reflexologist and I spent the last two years working as an in-house translator for a medical clinic in Spain. I have worked on a variety of documents including patient information documents, informed consent forms, medical reports, research papers, and websites and blogs, as well as didactic texts.
