About me

I am a proofreader that loves the written word, and it has always been my dream to be part of the publication process. Since I’m not creative enough to write my own material, I revel in the fact that I can do my bit by putting the dots on the i’s and crossing the t’s for others.
I have completed two proofreading courses from the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP) and studied English Language and Literature at the Open University in which the focus lay on the interpretation of novels and the functional use of grammar.

Dutch2English proofreading and proofediting: as a bilingual, I am in the unique position to make sure that any translated text is fit for its audience and that the result is up to UK or US standards.
